Code Red, a Boston-based research management software provider, is readying an update to its Red Alerts software platform that the vendor hopes will help broaden its appeal beyond hedge funds to traditional investment managers.
"A lot of what we focused on in the first couple of releases was the organization and searching of research," says Jeffrey Woodruff, managing director of sales and marketing at the vendor. "Now it's more about how to create greater relevance around that research."
