GT Capital Management has embarked on a search for a data distribution platform on which it can offer its 20 portfolio managers access to real-time market data, analytics and portfolio information. The firm hopes to use its existing Ethernet local area network to deliver the new data and applications.

GT Capital is an international money manager based in San Francisco and London. The firm has $6.1 billion under management and markets some 20 mutual funds. GT employs a staff of about 30 IT
