Consolidation among the service providers in every industry is inevitable. Even the most superficial of reviews into the changes that have occurred in the global motor industry over the past decade, for example, confirms this. BMW now owns Mini and Rolls Royce; Fiat looks after the Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Lancia and Maserati brands, while Ford has added Aston Martin, Jaguar and Land Rover (which it acquired from BMW) to its stable. Volkswagen, not to be outdone, has acquired Audi, Bentley, Bugatti
