XTF Releases New US ETF Analytics Suite
The suite includes proprietary data from XTF.
XTF's new suite of products "provides comprehensive and objective ETF coverage" for ETF issuers, retail brokerages, and advisory firms to conduct market analysis and research tools. Analytics from XTF will be delivered through a data feeds and customized web solutions.
"The rapid rise of the global ETF market is prompting demand from institutional and retail investors, as well as their intermediaries, for access to high quality global analytic tools," said Mark Makepeace, group director of information services and CEO of FTSE Russell, in a statement.
Five of the new XTF data modules cover the entire US ETF market─including 1,800 ETFs, reference data, performance and liquidity data, fund holdings, analytics and thematic data─though the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is planning to expand beyond US ETF coverage by 2017.
Updated daily and sourced directly from fund sponsors, XTF's data compiles and calculates information across asset classes, sectors, and industries. It includes daily portfolio holdings and fund flows as well as proprietary analytics like ETF ratings.
LSEG bought XTF for an undisclosed sum in December 2015. It integrated the data and ratings provider into its information services division, which also oversees FTSE Russell and the RNS regulatory news service.
