Satellite Failure Sends Vendors Scrambling To Net

NEW YORK--North American suppliers of stock quotes, news and other data normally delivered by satellite were scrambling last Wednesday to get their clients back on track after the Galaxy IV satellite failed. Many of those vendors were steering their clients towards their Internet-delivered services--which remained unaffected by the satellite outage.
