Burchenal Lands Business Development Role at Traiana

Traiana, the New York-based provider of post-trade software and services, has appointed John Burchenal as global head of business development. Burchenal will be responsible for expanding Traiana's footprint and scope of partnerships globally.

Burchenal was most recently managing director of strategic growth at Omgeo, responsible for growth initiatives and partnerships. Prior to his Omgeo stint, he served as director of STP services at TradeWeb, where he oversaw a number of global product lines and managed post-trade partnerships with third-party technology vendors.

Burchenal has also held management positions at Citibank, DLJ and Lehman Brothers.
