BNY Grows Staffing for Derivatives360 Initiative

BNY Mellon has announced the appointments of Jonathan Bowler, Chris Coleman and Laure Scala to support the firm's Derivatives360 project, which offers services for issuers and investors around the execution and processing of derivatives.

Bowler will serve as a business manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific regions. Coleman will have the same title as Bowler except that he will focus on the North America and Latin America markets. Scala will serve as chief administrative officer. All three were with BNY Mellon in various roles prior to this announcement.

Derivatives360's functions include trading and execution, middle- and back-office outsourcing, collateral management, accounting and recordkeeping, reporting, and performance and risk analytics. It also encompasses a range of outsourced services, including over-the-counter (OTC) trade affirmation and confirmation, trade settlement, independent third-party valuation, and counterparty and investment manager reconciliation, according to the firm.
