Digital Vega Tabs Hobin to Lead Distribution

London-based FX trading solutions provider Digital Vega says it has appointed John Hobin as new head of distribution, tabbed with leading the growth of the firm's customer franchise as it scales up.
Hobin joins Digital Vega with two decades of FX market experience, most recently serving as head of FX institutional sales in London for Australian bank Macquarie, with similar previous roles at Standard Chartered and Dresdner Kleinwort focusing on sales of FX products to hedge funds and other non-bank financial institutions.
"Digital Vega is now in a major growth phase as a company and as we continue to expand and develop our offering, John's experience and relationships will be invaluable. We have known each other for 20 years, have worked closely together on more than one occasion, and we are delighted to have him on board," says Mark Suter, CEO of Digital Vega.
