LCH.Clearnet Chooses RBS's Ryan to Lead Operations

LCH.Clearnet, a derivatives clearing services provider based in London, has appointed former RBS markets operations director Martin Ryan as head of its operations and client services.

Ryan, who was at RBS for three years, previously held similar positions at Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan.

The clearing house is the subject of a majority acquisition by the London Stock Exchange Group, which should see 60 percent ownership transferred to the firm by Q4 2012.
