Gores Group Takes a Slice of Orange
Los Angeles-based M&A and buyout firm The Gores Group has acquired the trading solutions division of telecommunications and network provider Orange Business Services, which provides voice and electronic trading infrastructure and services to the financial services industry, including its global MPLS-based data and voice network.
Following a significant injection of capital from Gores, the Etrali Trading Solutions division -- rebranded to its former name prior to being acquired by Orange in 2006 -- is now seeking to expand its product and services portfolio in response to customer demand, officials say.
