Wolters Kluwer Completes Svenson Acquisition
The Svenson team will move from SmartStream to Wolters Kluwer as a result. Svenson contains a number of regulatory reporting modules and risk-management elements for Austrian institutions. Terms of the deal, which was first announced in July, were not disclosed.
The acquisition is designed to reinforce the firm's position in Austria, and expand its business in Eastern Europe, a spokesperson told Inside Reference Data at the time.
