CenturyLink Tech Solutions Changes Bandwidth Buying Process to Cut Connectivity Costs for Clients

roji-oommen-savvis

Under the new model, users buy a set of connectivity ports in CenturyLink Technology Solutions' datacenter, and pay for their preferred amount of bandwidth, and can then subscribe to any on-net data (subject to exchange agreements and fees) up to that amount of bandwidth, rather than paying fees based on the number of data sources they consume. Users can also self-provision the level of bandwidth, allowing them to reduce the amount required if they no longer need access to certain feeds.
