Kellner Replaces Kondo as Instinet CEO

"Instinet is an integral part of the strategic ambitions we have for our equities franchise, particularly given the ongoing shift of client assets into equities globally," says Naoki Matsuba, co-head of Nomura's global markets division and chairman of Instinet.

Prior to being named CEO, Kellner served as head of Instinet's Americas businesses. He joined the Nomura Group in 2003 and moved to Instinet in 2007 following its acquisition of the company. Kellner previously held senior trading and technology positions at Charles Schwab, Investment Technology Group and Morgan Stanley.
