Barchetto Promoted to Bats' Head of Corporate Development
Barchetto previously served as senior vice president of business development at Bats.
Barchetto, who previously served as the senior vice president of business development at Bats, will join the executive team of the exchange operator. He first joined the firm in 2014 with Bats' acquisition of Direct Edge Holdings, where he served as head of corporate strategy.
Before his time at Direct Edge, Barchetto was in senior positions in product, sales, operations and business development at Liquidnet. He also had a stint as a market maker with Knight Capital Group and Citigroup's Lava Trading.
