Portware Expands Global Foreign Exchange Team
FactSet company hires Chris Sorensen

Boston-based Chris Sorensen joins artificial intelligence-powered automation provider as FX product manager.
Portware, a provider of multi-asset trade automation solutions powered by artificial intelligence, which is owned by FactSet, today announced the appointment of Chris Sorensen as FX product manager.
Following several recent multi-asset global wins, Sorensen will help drive Portware's growth in the foreign exchange space with a particular focus on execution and automation tools for tier-one global asset management firms.
Sorensen will be based in FactSet's Boston office and will partner with both the existing Portware team and the buy side to bring similar levels of performance and value to over-the-counter markets that exist for listed equities. Prior to joining Portware, Sorensen was the global head of strategic alliances and technical account management at FX Connect.
He has also held roles at State Street as vice president for client implementation and technical account management, and at BNY Mellon as a fixed-income trading systems analyst.
