Hayes occupied a number of positions during a 25-year tenure at State Street including head of global markets operations and senior roles leading fund accounting and operational teams, and most recently as managing director of international fund services Europe for the Boston-based bank.

"Patrick is a securities services industry specialist with a long and distinguished track record," said Placido in a statement. "He joins us at an exciting time as we continue to grow our market share and capitalize on a strong momentum, in the UK in particular."
