Deloitte Adds Lamar To Regulatory Strategy Arm

Former New York Fed official joins consultancy as senior advisor

The Deloitte Center for Regulatory Strategies has named Kenneth Lamar as an independent senior advisor.

In his new role with Deloitte, Lamar, formerly head of statistics and senior advisor to the director of research at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, will advise financial firms on regulatory reporting, data infrastructure and regulatory expectations for data architecture.

Lamar, who was with the New York Fed for about 35 years, supervised its data collections systems and data quality programs, and held leadership roles concerning the design of data collections, quality assurance and technical implementation of data collections.

He has collaborated with other federal regulators, trade groups and firms, and his knowledge includes primary dealer reporting, foreign exchange and derivatives reporting, and legal entity reporting.
