Corporate Actions: Standardization WebCast
Lack of standardization continues to be one of the main challenges in the corporate actions space. In past years industry collaboration has been on the rise, particularly around initiatives aimed at standardizing data at the source-level. But this cannot be done without issuer-engagement and issuers may not get onboard without a regulatory mandate. While the issuer-level discussion continues, market participants continue to standardize further down the chain, with some looking at how to build a business case for moving to ISO 20022. Meanwhile, client requirements continue to dictate how firms spend their corporate actions budgets.
