Advent Software Appoints Lithium CEO to Board

San Francisco-based vendor Advent Software has appointed Lithium Technologies' president and CEO Rob Tarkoff to its board of directors.

Tarkoff, a specialist in digital media and software-as-a-service (SaaS), will join the board on September 25.

Prior to his position at Lithium, where he has been for a year, Tarkoff held positions at Adobe Systems, EMC and as an associate at law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati. He started his career as an analyst at Goldman Sachs, having earned his JD from Harvard Law School. He also serves on the board for the Lawrence Hall of Science.
