NRI to Expand APAC Presence

Nomura Research Institute (NRI), a Tokyo-based financial IT consultancy spin-off that originated within Nomura Securities, has announced its Asia-Pacific (APAC) arm will establish four new bases in Bangkok, Taipei, Manila, and Seoul, adding to those already operating in Singapore, Hong Kong, Gurgaon and Kolkata in India, and Jakarta.

The move also includes a 600 million Yen injection of capital from NRI to NRI APAC, to bolster core functions and realize further operational expansion in China as part of the firm's Vision 2015 initiative.
