PKO Bank Polski Takes NYSE DMA with List
PKO Bank Polski has selected List's FastTrade software to give it direct market access (DMA) to NYSE Euronext's universal trading platform.
The technology will incorporate standard market-making functionality such as auto-pricing and quoting, risk management, smart order routing and order and execution management system technology. Support for algorithmic execution is inbuilt.
PKO Bank Polski aims to consolidate its brokerage and market-making operations onto a single low-latency platform, along with the ability to trade cross-asset strategies across multiple venues.
"The world class solution offered by List allows us to combine our local market expertise with leading global technology," says Grzegorz Zawada, head of brokerage at PKO Bank Polski. "Implementation of the new system will put us on an equal footing with foreign investment banks while creating a significant competitive advantage in the Polish market."
