Spanish Exchange group Bolsas y Mercados Espaňoles will begin offering co-location capabilities at its Data Processing Center in Madrid from Nov. 12, enabling trading firms to install their trading servers in direct proximity to the exchange's cash and derivatives trading engines and real-time price distribution systems. BME officials say the move -- which has been in the works since earlier this year (IMD, May 21) -- will reduce latency and increase capacity for traders.
