CERN Implements TradingScreen for Pension Investments

Geneva-based CERN will use the SaaS technology to streamline its pension fund operations.

TradingScreen will provide software for foreign exchange (FX) trading, as well as transaction cost analysis (TCA). The products will be delivered on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis, with enhanced straight-through processing.

"CERN is the home of the world's largest particle physics accelerator, built and operated with cutting edge technologies" says Nicolas Salomon, head of middle office and treasury at CERN pension fund. "Our ambition was to raise the pension fund operations infrastructure to the level of excellence that is characteristic of CERN's scientific and engineering activities."
