The move was made after the eponymous boutique firm, founded in 2006 and named for its founder, Scott Derwenskus, decided to create a 'portable office' for its trading operations, streamlining communications as well as infrastructure requirements.

"The lighter-weight solution is a comfortable fit for our business size, and makes the most sense for providing continued and seamless service to our customers. We are already experiencing better voice quality than we initially anticipated, and enjoy the new mobility," says Lynn Shimasaki, Scotty D Group's head of sales.
