The program will include two services: a full review of order routing practices including flow and venue data and current transaction cost analysis (TCA) results, as well as examination of commission rates and fees; and a qualitative report of ongoing monitoring practices and procedures developed for regulatory compliance.

“The combination of quantitative order flow and venue analysis, together with qualitative analysis of a firm’s practices, independently verified and monitored provides a benchmark toward achieving best execution,” says Dave Lauer, president and managing partner, KOR Group. “As the first in the industry doing anything like this, we designed the Best Execution Accreditation to help firms stay ahead of the competition, reduce transaction costs and provide peace of mind to themselves and their investors that they are far exceeding best execution requirements.”
