Young joins Swift after 20 years at Verizon

Swift has reorganized its IT and operations division

The hire is part of a reorganization of Swift's IT and operations division due to the retirement of chief information officer (CIO) Mike Fish.

Marcel Bronmans, who previously served as Swift's chief risk officer, was named chief operations officer.

Prior to joining Swift, Young spent 20 years at Verizon Communications, serving as CIO since 2013. Bronmans has been with Swift since 1985.
