Mellon Bond Tests Knight-Ridder, GOVPX On Bond-Trading Desk

Mellon Bond Associates, an investment management subsidiary of Pittsburgh-based Mellon Bank, is testing Knight-Ridder Inc.'s Digital Data Feed carrying GOVPX Inc.'s government securities service. The tests are the first phase of a program designed to replace stand-alone data services with digital feeds running across an existing local area network.
