Citi Extends Partnership with Mirae
Ahead of Mirae Asset Global Investments' launch of the Mirae Asset Discovery Funds, the firm announced that Citi has extended its partnership with Mirae to provide securities and fund services.
Citi already supports Mirae's Korean-domiciled overseas funds, as well as provide global custody and fund accounting for the investment manger's Luxembourg investment schemes and Brazil-domiciled products.
"We were able to quickly prepare for Mirae Asset's rollout in New York because we had the implementation, technology and operations resources available to support Mirae Asset in all of their operating locations," says Neeraj Sahai, global head of securities and fund services at Citi. "We were able to help Mirae Asset ensure a consistent service globally and help them connect their geographically dispersed offices."
