Stockholm-based Cinnober Financial Technology has appointed Mattias Granlund as the vendor’s new deputy chief technology officer (CTO).
Granlund will work alongside Cinnober co-founder and CTO, Peter Lenti, on the vendor’s long-term technical strategy and product development. Prior to joining Cinnober, Granlund worked with a number of Silicon Valley organizations, most notably Google, where he held a number of roles, including quantitative research manager.
“The current technical landscape offers plenty of opportunities for the disruption of marketplaces as well as clearinghouses,” said Granlund.” I look forward to advancing the long-term product development at Cinnober and preparing our clients and other financial actors for the coming technological shifts.”
Last month, Cinnober acquired the assets and customer base of market surveillance technology provider Ancoa Software out of administration, the UK equivalent of Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
