Attunity Creates Big Data Solution to Prevent Bottlenecks

Software solutions provider Attunity announced the launch of Attunity CloudBeam, a software-as-a-service platform geared toward the handling of Big Data and that is delivered through Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS customers can begin testing the Attunity solution starting today.
The move is designed to help firms avoid bottleneck while transferring data between the data center and the cloud or between cloud environments, according to the vendor. Attunity CloudBeam is elastic and allows for the smooth transfer of Big Data, according to Shimon Alon, chairman and CEO of Attunity.
He adds that this release was made possible after its September acquisition of RepliWeb, which provides enterprise file replication and managed file transfer technologies.
"I am happy to report that Attunity CloudBeam is a direct result of our strategic acquisition of RepliWeb last year ─ allowing Attunity to increase its ability to penetrate both the Big Data and cloud markets," Alon says.
