Communication and workflow specialist continues to add to its stable of partners.

Symphony Communication Services, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based messaging startup, has announced a partnership with FactSet, a provider of integrated financial information and analytical applications. The two parties are collaborating to offer Symphony on the FactSet platform.

“We are thrilled to welcome FactSet, a core supplier of market data and analytics, to the Symphony partner ecosystem,” said David Gurle, founder and CEO of Symphony, in a statement. “As FactSet is known as a product innovator, we believe that together we have an opportunity to fundamentally transform how investment professionals work.”

Earlier this month, Symphony announced its partnership with Markit. Symphony already has partnerships with Dow Jones, McGraw Hill Financial and Selerity. The firm also announced its mobile app for iPhone is live earlier this month.

“Enterprise-wide collaboration across members of the financial investment community will dramatically improve industry productivity,” said Phil Snow, CEO of FactSet, in a statement. “This partnership reinforces FactSet’s commitment to delivering solutions that help our clients be more efficient across their workflows.”
