Boston Exchange Moves To New Floor With Desktop Upgrades, New Network


BOSTON--The Boston Stock Exchange (BSE) has recently completed the relocation of its trading floor to 100 Franklin Street, which features upgraded front-end hardware and a revamped network infrastructure.

Aside from moving into a larger and more suitable space, some of the primary changes include desktop and network hardware upgrades for the 100-plus trading positions of the exchange, say BSE officials. The BSE has rolled out faster Sun Microsystems desktop workstations and installed Cisco
