Deutsche Börse, IPC Reduce London-Frankfurt Latencies

Connectivity to Frankfurt is under the microscope today, as both Deutsche Börse and voice and electronic trading communications vendor IPC have announced improvements to their respective low-latency links between London and Frankfurt.

Deutsche Börse has rolled out 10 Gbps network connections between London and its Frankfurt facility, aided by technical partner and telecom provider Colt. The exchange operator says it is now delivering latency of 4.33 milliseconds.
