Goldman Sachs Takes IO Modular Datacenter Strategy

A view of the City of London
Goldman will use the modular datacenter technology in London, North America, Singapore and other locations.

The bank will be taking a mix of procured and hosted services from IO, as well as installing its IO Anywhere software for optimization. It expects cost savings and energy efficiency from the strategy in line with stated targets.

IO's modular datacenter system allows rapid provision of services to clients, and can be delivered as a hosted service or a physical product. As part of the arrangement with the bank, it will build out capabilities in London, UK and elsewhere.
