Redline Reports Microsecond Benchmark in Futures Test

The test case, which measured elapsed time from market data arrival to order transmission, resulted in mean latency of 6.1 microseconds, with a maximum of 18.2 and standard deviation, or jitter, of 1.4 microseconds. Citing strong determinism, STAC reported that both the mean and jitter were consistent at an increase eight times the market data rate, as well.

InRush 3 connects exchanges' multiple market data feeds with client trading applications, with an execution gateway that tracks order flow through multiple execution venues. The STAC benchmark is evidence of the plant's ability to both interconnect and scale linearly, particularly for firms using platforms built with Intel's Xeon E5 processor family, for which InRush 3 was optimized.
