Moderator: I'd like the panel to look at the different strengths of virtualization and the grid, and explain how it's developing. How are investment firms using virtualization? How is it evolving to bring the two together?

John Darlington, Imperial College: The more substantial route to the reduction of costs is to try to reduce the complexity of the whole process of building applications and getting them executed. Machines are just getting more and more complex, with highly parallel clusters
