At Press Time . . . Batterymarch Financial Agrees To Buy Latest Release Of DST/Belvedere Global Portfolio System

AT Press time, news emerged that Batterymarch Financial Management Inc. had opted to buy the latest release of DST Belvedere's Global Portfolio System. According to a Batterymarch technology official, the firm selected the off-the-shelf package, because it is eager "to get out of the systems development business" and to concentrate instead on investment management. Batterymarch has some $5 billion in assets under management.
