Thomson Unit Will Integrate Systems From Multiple Vendors For Managers

BOSTON--Thomson Investment Software has created a unit that will ultimately employ as many 70 people to help buy-side firms implement systems from both Thomson and other vendors. Led by vice president Rock Griffin, who had run Coopers & Lybrand's technology consulting practice for Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the unit will make use of product specialists and software developers from throughout the Thomson organization on specific customization projects.
