Market Data Corp. Hires Scott Rumbold, As Discussions With Telerate Continue

Market Data Corp., the data consolidation sidearm of Cantor Fitzgerald L.P., has hired ex-Dow Jones Telerate executive Scott Rumbold to serve as its executive vice president, international. The move comes as Cantor and MDC find themselves returning, yet again, to the negotiating table with the exclusive distributor of their U.S. Treasury data: Telerate.
An MDC statement says that Rumbold "will be involved in many aspects of MDC's business including vendor relationships in the context of MDC's
