Bloomberg Upsets Market Data Managers With Terminal Price Hike

NEW YORK--Bloomberg’s announcement that it is to increase the cost of a terminal by $60 a month seems to have upset many market data managers at the major banking institutions. A source at one New York based Wall Street firm tells IMD: "We are upset about the increase, but what can we do about it?" He continues, "We are not naive enough to think that if enough of us club together that we can strong-arm Bloomberg into canceling the increase." This thought was echoed by other market data managers
