S&P Comstock Will Not Participate In SIA/FIF Streetwide Y2K Data Tests

HARRISON, NY: Standard & Poor's Comstock has decided not to participate in the industrywide Y2K test, scheduled for May 1, which is being coordinated by the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and the Financial Information Forum (FIF).

A source close to the testing organization says that the fee for participating, which ranges from between $25,000 and $60,000, has been an issue for Comstock.
