NEW YORK--At least two firms, Sungard and Welsh, Carson, Anderson and Stowe, have submitted bids for Bridge Information Systems, sources close to Bridge say; and there may be more. Several other firms have done due diligence, these sources say, including Thomson Financial, Global Crossing and Moneyline. Some sources also suggest that Cantor Fitzgerald may be considering a bid.
A spokesperson for Sungard declines to comment, as is its policy. Global Crossing and Thomson Financial also decline
