US Grand Jury Investigates Reuters Unit For Improper Usage Of Bloomberg Data

NEW YORK--Reuters is under investigation by a US grand jury in New York to ascertain whether its Stamford, Connecticut-based Reuters Analytics subsidiary improperly used data from Bloomberg's market data service.

The news broke last Thursday when Reuters issued a statement via PR Newswire. In the statement, the company said that "Reuters is cooperating with the investigation and has engaged external counsel to conduct a thorough internal inquiry."
