Buy-Side Technology Awards 2016: Best Cloud Provider to the Buy Side—Eze Castle Integration
BT is a two-time winner of this category (2014 and 2012), while Microsoft won the award back in 2013.
In today’s environment, it’s impossible to talk about cloud services without also talking about cybersecurity. After all, buy-side firms are increasingly turning to third-party cloud providers to cut costs and better manage a sea of data, but they also need help in terms of protecting themselves against new and growing cyber threats.
In August this year, ECI expanded its cybersecurity consulting services, which delivers vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and third-party due-diligence audits to customers.
To accompany the security built into the Eze Private Cloud, ECI also offers Eze Active Threat Protection, which combines 24x7 intrusion detection/prevention monitoring—courtesy of eSentire, which won the award for the best cyber-security platform—with incident response; Eze Managed Phishing and Online Training Service, which was launched this year and combines simulated phishing attacks with online training and reporting; security networking/infrastructure protection; and written information security and incident response plans, including developing, maintaining and training employees on security plans, policies and responses.
The fully managed service also added Proofpoint Targeted Attack Protection, which detects, analyzes, and blocks advanced threats before they reach users’ inboxes, in addition to two-factor authentication capabilities for users accessing Eze Private Cloud services.
For 2017, the vendor will look to expand its cloud offering further in the alternative asset management space, including private equity and wealth management firms.
In August this year, ECI expanded its cybersecurity consulting services, which delivers vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and third-party due diligence audits to customers.
“Eze Castle Integration’s vision is to be the global leader in technology products, services and solutions that empower financial firms and exceed customers’ expectations,” says Mary Beth Hamilton, vice president of marketing for Eze Castle Integration. “We also aim to take a consultative approach when working with our clients, and are focused on staying ahead of regulatory requirements by rolling out new technologies and functionality on our private cloud platform.”
It should also be noted that the Eze Private Cloud—which is powered by technologies from VMWare, Cisco, Dell and NetApp—also serves as the foundation for three other ECI offerings: Eze Managed Suite (SaaS), Eze Managed Infrastructure (IaaS) and Eze Voice (VoIP).
