Electra Information Systems won this year’s best buy-side reconciliation platform category, retaking the crown after surrendering it to Indus Valley Partners last year. John Brazier speaks to Electra's Gabriel Khanan about the win and what's in store for 2017.
Electra's reconciliation platform, formerly known as OpenSTaARS, already supports automatic identification of exceptions and provides users with transparency around that process. But recent enhancements mean that now the platform allows buy-side firms to define NAV buckets that they use to calculate overall NAVs, and true n-way reconciliation, allowing them to compare multiple datasets within the same view and to compare large data volumes quickly and seamlessly.
John Brazier chats to Gabriel Khanan about what the win means for the New York-based firm, and the enhancements to the platform that are already in the pipeline.
