Waters Rankings 2022: Best network provider—Anova Financial Networks
Overview
Today’s markets are more volatile than ever and feeds often spike beyond the bandwidth a low-latency provider has available, causing “gaps” in data. Utilizing a 10Gbps backbone and Anova Financial Networks’ (AFN’s) fiber-backed self-healing, AFN’s Zero Gap feed addresses the ever-increasing requirements and demand for building a gap-resistant, low-latency wireless datafeed with 100% delivery.
“It is an honor to receive the Waters Rankings awards for best low-latency datafeed provider and best network provider. These awards are a testament to Anova’s commitment to enhancing our assets and further strengthening our network to support our customers in this critical global marketplace.”
Joe Hilt, vice president of sales and marketing, Anova Financial Networks
The Solution
AFN’s Zero Gap feed takes the raw feed from the source exchange and sends the data in its native format, wirelessly to an away exchange. Gaps are eliminated with 10Gbps of transport dedicated to each feed, as well as fiber-backed packet-loss self-healing, which ensures firms never miss an update and allows them to obtain the speed of wireless with the reliability of fiber.
Secret Sauce
Since its inception in 2009, AFN has been addressing a variety of industry challenges. According to AFN, Zero Gap is currently the industry’s only 10Gbps wireless backbone, while the firm’s self-healing product is patented.
Recent Milestones
- AFN upgraded the backbone capacity of its proprietary wireless platform from a native 2Gbps to 10Gbps on a single network.
- AFN’s Zero Gap feed addresses the demand for building a gap-resistant, low-latency wireless datafeed with 100% delivery.
- AFN recently grew its sales team by almost 20%, its engineering and development capacity by 100%, and added 33% more headcount on the finance side.
Future Objectives
- AFN will complete the development of its proprietary LTS radio platform throughput to 25Gbps.
- AFN will continue the expansion of its crypto-centric global network by adding new points of presence and additional capacity.
- AFN will invest in its customer-centric portal for advanced wireless circuit statistics and monitoring.
