Waters Rankings 2024: Best cybersecurity provider—AI Risk
Product/service: AIR-GPT platform
Overview
Founded in 2023 by Alec Crawford and Frank Fitzgerald, Greenwich, Connecticut-based Artificial Intelligence Risk (AI Risk) offers a solution for corporate AI governance, risk management, compliance and cybersecurity. With private cloud deployment, the AIR-GPT platform links the AI to internal data, documents and applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Teams. Companies can securely use AI large language models (LLMs) in as little as one hour while maintaining individual permission awareness.
I accept this award on behalf of the entire Artificial Intelligence Risk, Inc. team. The Waters Rankings best cybersecurity provider award is validation of the hard work performed by Frank Fitzgerald, founder and CTO, and the entire AI Risk technology team. Seeing our vision of safe, secure, and compliant AI become reality is not just important for us, but for companies, their customers, and society overall
Alec Crawford, founder and CEO, Artificial Intelligence Risk
The solution
AI Risk installs its AIR-GPT software and third-party AI LLMs like OpenAI and Mistral on firms’ private clouds, ensuring confidentiality and SOC 2 compliance. AIR-GPT is designed to offer enhanced cybersecurity for AI, safeguard confidential and personally identifiable information, and detect and block AI hacking attempts.
Secret sauce
AI Risk’s flagship offering is AIR-GPT, an AI governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity platform. It offers a number of unique features including customizable AI agents that can link to SQL databases and external APIs. AIR-GPT also manages data confidentiality and prevents issues such as toxic language and hacking attempts.
Recent milestones
AI Risk recently introduced the ability for companies to create no-code AI agents that can link into SQL databases and any internal or external API. For example, AIR-GPT links into Outlook, Teams and HubSpot, turning the AI into a command center for financial advisors and other professionals.
Future objectives
AI Risk continues to expand its team, the industries it serves, and its capabilities. For example, it can offer AI software specifically for the health care industry. The firm will continue to form partnerships around the world to facilitate the safe, secure, and compliant use of AI.
