Witad Awards 2026: Best company for diversity and inclusion (vendor)—Numerix
Numerix wins best company for diversity and inclusion (vendor) in the 2026 Women in Technology and Data Awards.
How does Numerix attract outstanding female staff members?
Numerix: Programs such as the Women in Finance Scholarship increase visibility for women pursuing careers in the field while connecting them with industry professionals. Over the years, our internship program has been an effective way to attract female quantitative talent and build a strong pipeline into entry-level highly technical roles at Numerix. The program provides real, hands-on experience, allowing interns to build their technical skills while working in a collaborative team environment.
How does Numerix go about retaining its talented women, given that staff retention is a perennial challenge for all firms working in or serving the capital markets. To what extent is this a challenge for Numerix?
Numerix: At Numerix, building a talent powerhouse is a core corporate priority. We offer competitive benefits, conduct ongoing people management training, and biannual performance reviews that incorporate feedback from both managers and peers—reinforcing a strong culture of continuous feedback. We also have a highly valued recognition program that celebrates employee contributions, with peer nominations being a particularly meaningful and motivating element. Overall, we strive to create an environment where employees can bring their best selves to work and where everyone—regardless of gender, race or religion—feels supported, heard and valued.

How is female talent identified across the business? Does that happen organically or does the business have a mechanism designed to “surface” its female talent?
Numerix: We have been fortunate in that it happens organically at Numerix and therefore we haven’t had to put mechanisms into place.
What other initiatives does Numerix have that promote its women both internally and externally across the industry?
Numerix: The Women in Finance Scholarship highlights the achievements of recipients and provides them with industry exposure while connecting them with professionals across the Numerix community. These efforts help elevate emerging voices in quantitative finance and support broader representation across the sector.
What future initiatives does Numerix have planned?
Numerix: The next round of our $20,000 Women in Finance Scholarship is launching on March 30. Students who are looking for more information can apply here: www.numerix.com/women-in-finance-scholarship
