The solution
The SIX Global Corporate Actions service provides users with a consolidated, multi-sourced view of corporate actions, covering more than 70 event types across instruments and markets. Data is validated, enriched and made available through clients’ preferred channels, in customizable or industry-standard formats—ISO 15022 MT564, for example—allowing them to tailor SIX data to meet their specific needs. SIX has over 50 partners offering streamlined distribution of aggregated data into a wide variety of technology and banking software suites.

SIX
Differentiators
SIX has been serving the capital markets with high-quality data for nearly 100 years. During that period, it has developed its databases, expanded its asset-class coverage, created tools and value-added data to serve the needs of its global clients. SIX is proud to have retained a local “flavor” within its products and a partnership-type approach with its customers. This proximity and use-case-driven service lifecycle is what it believes differentiates it as a vendor.
Recent goals
Over the past 12 months, SIX has expanded access to its corporate actions data through SIX Bulk API, enabling initial loads and delta updates in JSON formats suited to large datasets. It has also enhanced its cloud delivery, lifecycle content and partner access, while exploring AI-enabled interaction through tools such as SIX Bot. The service continues to support new instruments and market trends, including crypto-related corporate actions.
Product roadmap
- SIX will focus on quality control measures, supported by workflow tools
- Coverage will expand through additional fixed-income content from FactEntry
- Delivery enhancements include Bulk API features, SIX Bot via MS Teams, VDFS Prime and ISO 20022 readiness
- Innovation will also leverage AI and data mining to improve timeliness and content creation
In parallel, the firm’s product approach is increasingly “use-case-oriented,” meaning it develops solutions to address clients’ specific needs and use-cases.
