Overview
The FactSet Performance Solutions (FPS) platform is designed to help performance teams produce accurate, repeatable and transparent performance and attribution results at scale. The platform automates the operational workflows behind performance measurement, from data validation through to calculation, exception management, approvals, and distribution, helping firms reduce manual effort while increasing confidence in published results.
The solution
FPS is designed to replace fragmented, manual processes with a single operational platform for performance measurement and attribution. Built-in workflow, validation rules, automation, and exception management functionality help teams identify issues earlier, resolve them faster, and consistently deliver accurate performance and attribution results while meeting increasingly demanding processing windows.
FactSet is honored to be recognized by the Waters Rankings for our performance measurement and attribution solutions three years running. Above all, we’re grateful for the trust of our clients. Secret sauce
FPS combines performance calculation, workflow management, validation, and managed services in a single platform. Integration with FactSet content and the firm’s Portfolio Vault offering creates a consistent data foundation across performance, attribution, risk, and reporting, reducing operational complexity while allowing firms to scale without adding comparable operational overheads.
Recent milestones
Over the past year, FPS reached a number of significant production milestones supporting large wealth and asset management firms. FactSet expanded its integration with Portfolio Lifecycle to provide end-to-end workflow management across the performance production process, improving operational visibility and exception handling. At the same time, the firm continued to increase platform scalability and automation, helping clients process larger workloads more efficiently while meeting operational service-level agreements.
Product roadmap
Over the next 12 to 18 months, FactSet will continue investing in automation across the performance production lifecycle, further connecting products and managed services into a more seamless operating model. It will also extend FPS to better support wealth management workflows while expanding practical AI capabilities for operational investigations, reconciliation, and portfolio commentary.
